Prior to massage therapy, Andrea received a B.A. in Psychology at Coastal Carolina University and completed first track of Master’s Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. Andrea’s initial inspiration for massage therapy developed after an auto accident in which therapeutic massage was a key factor to her recovery. Her experience enhanced her passion of health, as well as helping others. She co-worked with a staff of 11 with the elderly in a 500 bed combined living complex, then moved on to being a stay at home mom of 3 children who are now adults. Karen decided to go back to school at the Baltimore School of Massage in 2017. Her experience most recently was working at a Chiropractor office. Massage is so beneficial before an adjustment! Many of her clients worked in manufacturing, with repetitive motion injuries, other work injuries, pre and post operative surgeries for hip and knee replacements and people that had been in car accidents with severe neck and back tension. Twice a year for 20 min the sun aligns perfectly to illuminate the inner corridor of the great temple and crown the statues along the posterior wall. Similar to Stone Henge at Midsummer. To be able to witness such an event from INSIDE the temple, while the sun was rising felt nothing short of a miracle. Every single person who was there at this moment served a very important role.
